Christina went into healthcare due to her passion for preventive and lifestyle medicine. She graduated from Texas A&M University with honors in 2014 with a degree in Allied Health. She then went to PA school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and graduated in 2017.
Since PA school, Christina has gained experience in primary care and urgent care. She joined the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in 2019 and is in pursuit of her ACLM certification. Within her practice she focuses on incorporating lifestyle modifications as a first line approach to many chronic diseases. She enjoys teaming up with her patients to help them realize and meet their health goals.
She joined Mora Medical in October 2022 and has loved working at a company that shares her passion for lifestyle medicine.
Christina lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, Christopher. Outside of work, she loves going for walks, exercising, yoga, journaling, meditation, traveling, trying new foods and spending time with my family and friends. She is excited to help you along your health journey!
I stumbled upon whole food plant based back in 2019 while researching how to improve my gut issues and prevent chronic diseases. My grandfather had a quadruple coronary artery bypass graft at the age of 49 and my grandmother had severe multiple sclerosis. I realized that your family history did not have to define your future health. I decided to slowly go plant based over about a year. We started with meatless Mondays. I am so happy to say that my gut issues have resolved and I am feeling so much better! My husband is also on board and is doing great!
My passion for treating patients as a whole instead of focusing on disease states.
